Kate: Добавить проверку правописания на других языках
Небольшая заметка о том, как добавить в редактор Kate другой язык, чтобы была возможность проверить опечатки в словах...
В прекрасном редакторе Kate есть встроенная проверка правописания включить которую можно из меню
- Tools > Spelling > Automatic Spell Checking
но, при устанвке английской ОС всего скорее у вас не будет нужных словарей. Исправить это не сложно.
Ищем нужный языковой пакет словаря

получаем список и выбираем нужные пакеты

Устанавливаем пакет/ы, например итальянский

sudo apt install hunspell-it |
Перезапускаем Kate, включаем проверку правописания и теперь опечатки будут видны
Если язык не определился сразу, то переключить словарь можно в
- Tools > Spelling > Change dictionary
